  3. Prepare green pepper

Add the chiles, garlic and half of the ginger (reserve the other half to add right at the end). Add the curry powder and stir to combine.

Steps to make Chakalaka:
  1. Peel and chop the carrots into Julienne strips
  2. Chop your onion and your green pepper also chop those chillies
  3. Boil those carrots for 10 minutes
  4. Drain then and cool those carrots
  5. In a pot pour your canola oil to fry the onion, pepper, chillies and garlic and ginger paste.
  6. Crumble the beef stock to the mix's and start to spice it then stir, the mixture.
  7. Pour your carrots in the mixture let it simmer and cook slowly.
  8. Then open my tin of baked beans and pour it and stir.
  9. Once is cooked its ready to be served with any meals

Hot, fiery, and incredibly versatile, spicy chakalaka is hugely popular across Southern Africa. It can play Oscar-winning roles as a main course, side dish, or relish.
